Treasury Wine Estates seeks buyers for Markaranka Vineyard, a 1,298-hectare asset in South Australia, as part of broader asset review.
Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has appointed Colliers to manage the sale of Markaranka Vineyard in South Australia’s Riverland region. The asset spans 1,298 hectares, including 157 hectares of vineyards and extensive irrigation infrastructure, with expressions of interest due by 24 July.
The move follows TWE’s recent divestment of its Rouge Homme brand and a strategic review of its Americas business, which has faced pressure in recent quarters. The company owns six wineries and one packaging facility in Australia, with primary production in South Australia and Victoria.
TWE’s CEO previously indicated potential sales of selected brands or assets amid a broader restructuring effort. The vineyard sale aligns with the company’s focus on optimizing its portfolio.
