Paul Tudor Jones’ firm increased its IBIT holdings to $22.9 million, reversing a year of reductions amid renewed institutional interest.
Tudor Investment raised its stake in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) to 688,529 shares, valued at $22.9 million as of June 30. The 18.9% increase from the prior quarter marks a shift after a year of selling, though the position remains well below its late-2024 peak of over 8 million shares.
The firm also slashed its IBIT call options by 85% while keeping puts nearly unchanged, signaling a pivot toward direct spot exposure. At its height, the stake was worth approximately $427 million, but Tudor reduced it throughout 2025. The move comes as institutional appetite for Bitcoin ETFs regains momentum.
Tudor’s adjustment represents a small fraction of its $100 billion-plus in assets but is seen as a notable signal from a prominent macro investor long associated with Bitcoin as an inflation hedge.
