Warsh to lead Fed, succeeding Jerome Powell
The US President will swear in Kevin Warsh as the chair of the US Federal Reserve on Friday.
Warsh will serve a four-year term as Fed chair and a 14-year term as a Fed governor.
The Fed has two mandates: to achieve price stability and foster full employment, using interest rates as its primary tool.
