International Tower Hill Mines appoints former Asante Gold finance chief to lead the company amid leadership transition.
International Tower Hill Mines (THM) named David Wiens as CEO and director, effective August 17. Wiens previously served as CFO of Asante Gold, where he oversaw approximately $1B in financing deals.
Outgoing CEO Karl Hanneman will transition to a strategic advisor role and remain on the board. Shane Parrow was simultaneously appointed as president, COO, and director. The moves follow a planned leadership shift at the mining company.
