TSX-V-listed Thistle reports high-grade gold mineralization at its New Brunswick project, supporting expansion potential.
Thistle Resources announced drill results from its Middle River Gold project, intersecting 21 metres of gold mineralization at 1.66 grams per tonne (g/t) over a 74-metre interval. The company described the composite as rich, including stronger intervals of 8 metres and 14 metres within the broader intersection.
The results stem from an ongoing drilling campaign aimed at expanding the deposit, which currently spans 400 metres along a mineralized fold. Thistle has identified seven kilometres of potential mineralized zones through geophysical surveys, with further drilling planned to extend the known trend.
Management stated the findings validate the exploration model and will guide future drilling to support inferred resource growth. The project is located in New Brunswick’s Bathurst Mining Camp, a region with established gold and base metal deposits.
