The new Melbourne facility will support over 1,400 Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker aircraft across the Asia-Pacific region.
Textron Aviation, a unit of Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT), launched a 35,000-square-foot service facility at Essendon Fields Airport in Melbourne. The hub is designed to expand factory-direct support for Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker customers in Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
The facility more than doubles Textron Aviation’s previous capacity in the region and aligns with the company’s Airport Master Plan to consolidate operations. It will serve over 1,400 aircraft, addressing demand for additional hangar space and improving operational efficiency.
Textron Inc. operates in aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors, with brands including Bell and E-Z-GO. The expansion strengthens its global service network amid growing regional demand.
