Tesla signs a multi-year agreement to supply over 25 GWh of battery energy storage systems to NatPower as Europe ramps up renewables integration.

Tesla has agreed to supply more than 25 gigawatt-hours of battery energy storage systems to NatPower under a multi-year deal, bolstering Europe’s push to expand renewable energy capacity. The agreement targets utility-scale projects across the continent as governments accelerate battery deployment to stabilize grids and maximize domestic clean energy use.

Europe’s battery storage market is expanding rapidly, driven by rising solar and wind installations and regulatory support for energy storage solutions. The region’s renewables-plus-storage pipeline has surged in recent quarters, with capacity additions expected to double by 2025 compared to 2023 levels.

The deal reinforces Tesla’s position in the utility-scale battery sector, complementing its existing residential and commercial storage offerings. NatPower, a clean energy infrastructure provider, will deploy the systems to enhance grid reliability and reduce curtailment of renewable generation.
