Anthropic signs a 20-year lease for 400 MW capacity, boosting TeraWulf’s revenue as it shifts from Bitcoin mining to AI infrastructure.
TeraWulf (NASDAQ: $WULF) will generate $19 billion in revenue from a 20-year lease with AI startup Anthropic for a 400-megawatt data centre in Kentucky. The facility is set to come online in the second half of 2027.
The deal marks TeraWulf’s pivot from Bitcoin ($BTC) mining to AI infrastructure, aligning with rising demand for high-performance computing. Anthropic, valued at $965 billion in private funding, is preparing for an IPO expected later this year or in early 2027.
$WULF shares have surged 341% over the past year, trading at $21.18, reflecting investor optimism about its AI transition.
