Indian IT firm TCS acquires Porsche’s consulting arm MHP for €320m to bolster AI integration and digital transformation efforts.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will acquire MHP, Porsche’s management and IT consulting subsidiary, for €320m ($373m). The deal includes a five-year strategic partnership to advance AI applications in Porsche’s operations and customer experience.
MHP, which employs over 4,500 people globally, specializes in digitalization, AI, and connected mobility. The transaction requires regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the coming months. MHP will retain its brand and operate independently post-acquisition.
The agreement also establishes an AI Mobility Centre of Excellence for Porsche, focusing on manufacturing, engineering, and digital transformation. TCS aims to leverage MHP’s expertise to expand its automotive industry capabilities.
