Caleb & Brown expands to the UK, focusing on high-net-worth clients amid lower crypto adoption compared to the US and Australia.
Caleb & Brown, an Australian crypto brokerage owned by Swyftx Group, has launched operations in the UK, targeting high-net-worth investors. The move follows Swyftx’s $100 million acquisition of the firm in 2025 and aims to capitalize on untapped demand in the UK market.
The UK ranks 11th in crypto adoption globally, with only 8% of the population owning digital assets, according to Chainalysis and the Financial Conduct Authority. While ownership declined from 2024, the average value held by investors has risen, signaling growing interest among wealthier clients.
Swyftx Group co-CEO Andrea Yuen described the UK as an “untapped opportunity,” noting crypto investment levels are four to five times lower than in the US, Asia, or Australia. The firm will avoid competing with retail exchanges, instead focusing on private client services in London’s financial sector.
