Analysts at Susquehanna and Wells Fargo set price targets $1,430 apart on Sandisk, reflecting deep division over its AI-driven growth prospects.

Two Wall Street firms issued starkly divergent price targets for Sandisk, with Susquehanna trimming its target to $3,050 while Wells Fargo raised its to $1,620. The $1,430 gap underscores a fundamental split over the stock’s valuation amid its volatile 52-week range of $40.10 to $2,354.39.

Susquehanna maintained a positive rating, citing AI-driven demand for NAND flash memory as a structural shift in the market. Wells Fargo, however, declined to recommend buying shares, suggesting the current $1,600 price is already fair. The debate centers on whether AI workloads will sustain elevated demand or if cyclical pressures will reassert themselves.

Sandisk’s stock has surged nearly 58x from its low, making it one of the market’s most polarizing names. The disparity in targets reflects broader uncertainty about the sustainability of its rally and the memory sector’s long-term outlook.
