Strive’s Bitcoin accumulation pushes total holdings above 21,000 BTC, lifting ASST shares 11% amid targeted trading range adjustments.
Strive purchased 1,110 Bitcoin for $81.5 million, increasing its total holdings to over 21,000 BTC. The move coincides with a 11% surge in ASST shares, which closed at $100.01 on Friday, aligning with management’s $99-to-$101 target range after dipping to $83.30 in June.
The company narrowed its preferred stock trading range from $95-$105 to $99-$101 in March, vowing no share issuance below $100. Strive launched ASST in November 2025, selling 2 million shares at $80 each for $160 million in gross proceeds. The stock, a variable-rate perpetual preferred, pays a 13% annualized dividend, adjusted to daily payments in June.
SATA’s performance contrasts with Strategy’s STRC, trading near $97, below its $100 target. Strategy reported no Bitcoin purchases for the week ended August 23, while Ether broke above $2.5K, extending Bitmine’s 14-month buying streak.
