Strategy sold 1,690 bitcoin for $108.6 million and raised $653.1 million from MSTR stock sales, lifting its USD reserve to $4.65 billion. The bitcoin sales reduced its holdings to 840,447 BTC, acquired at an average price of $75,385.
The 1,690 bitcoin were sold at an average price of $64,262, net of fees. Proceeds from the bitcoin sale were used to repurchase 1.15 million STRC shares for $108.6 million. The company directed $650 million from stock sales to its USD reserve, with the remainder added to cash.
Strategy retains $785.2 million under its preferred-stock repurchase program and $1 billion for MSTR share buybacks. MSTR and STRC shares rose 0.5% in pre-market trading, while bitcoin traded near $65,000.
