S&P 500 posts ninth straight weekly gain
The S&P 500 logged its longest weekly winning streak since 2023, with a ninth consecutive weekly gain.
The index is up almost 20% from its March lows, with Brent crude settling near $92 a barrel.
Major cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin and ether, fell around 2% to 6% amid cooling spot bitcoin ETF inflows, while smaller tokens like Hyperliquid’s HYPE surged nearly 20%.
