Stellantis reported €293 million net profit for Q2 2026 but fell short of adjusted operating income forecasts, pressuring its stock.
Stellantis swung to a €293 million net profit in Q2 2026 from a €1.87 billion loss a year earlier, driven by a 32% surge in North American sales. Net revenues rose 13% to €43.5 billion, with adjusted operating income climbing to €773 million, nearly quadrupling the prior-year figure.
The adjusted operating income margin reached 1.8%, up 120 basis points year-over-year but below analyst expectations of €914 million. Industrial free cash flow hit €1.0 billion, exceeding Citi’s €600 million projection, while North America led regional growth with a 6% sales increase.
Shares fell as much as 8% before trimming losses to around 5%, as analysts cited weak margins and the need for sustained operational improvements to support a more bullish outlook.
