Standard Nuclear’s IPO priced at $15 per share but opened lower amid a broader sell-off in nuclear stocks.
Standard Nuclear (STDN) shares fell 11.5% to $13.27 in their NYSE trading debut, opening at $13.50. The company priced its IPO at $15 per share for 10M Class A common shares.
The decline coincided with a broader sell-off in nuclear stocks, with Oklo (OKLO) and NuScale Power (SMR) dropping over 9%, while Deep Fission (FISN) fell 13%. BofA Securities and Goldman Sachs managed the offering.
The debut underperformance reflects investor caution amid sector-wide pressure.
