Monthly crypto card purchases funded by stablecoins reach a record high, doubling year-over-year growth.

Stablecoin-funded card purchases climbed to $1.03 billion in July, marking a new monthly record. The figure reflects a 16% increase from June and a near 200% rise from the same period last year, driven by over 10 million individual transactions.

Tracking data from multiple issuers across Ethereum, Solana, Base, Tron, and Polygon showed sustained growth, with volume rising from $382 million in August 2025 to over $1 billion in July 2026. USDT and USDC dominated as the primary stablecoins used for payments, though network breakdowns were not disclosed.

The trend highlights the growing adoption of digital dollars for instant settlement, particularly in regions with limited banking access. Stablecoin cards offer faster processing compared to traditional multi-day card networks.
