U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded eight straight days of inflows totaling $2.8 billion, led by BlackRock’s $IBIT, while BTC traded near $80,475.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds attracted $2.8 billion over eight consecutive trading sessions, extending a record inflow streak. Daily inflows declined from a peak of $606 million on August 20 to $232 million on Wednesday, signaling easing buying pressure.

BlackRock’s $IBIT dominated the run, capturing $2.02 billion, or 72% of the total. Grayscale’s GBTC posted net outflows, shedding $50.4 million on Wednesday alone. Since launch, cumulative net inflows for the category stand at $54.7 billion, with $IBIT drawing $63.1 billion and GBTC bleeding $27.6 billion.

Bitcoin traded at $79,520 on Thursday, up 1.1% after reaching an intraday high of $80,475. Analysts noted the combined $7 billion inflow into gold and Bitcoin ETFs over the past week marked a record for a five-day period, driven by a flight from AI-focused assets.
