Elon Musk’s SpaceX plans a June 2026 public listing aiming to raise $75 billion at a potential $2 trillion valuation.
SpaceX is preparing for an initial public offering in June 2026, targeting a $75 billion raise that could value the company at nearly $2 trillion. If successful, it would mark the largest IPO in history, surpassing previous records by a wide margin.
The company’s satellite internet unit, Starlink, drove $11.4 billion in revenue and $4.4 billion in operating income in 2025. In the first quarter of 2026, Starlink reported $3.3 billion in revenue and $1.2 billion in operating income, with subscriber numbers rising to 10.3 million from 5 million a year earlier. Starship, SpaceX’s next-generation rocket, remains critical for future growth, enabling larger satellite launches and cost reductions.
Analysts question whether the lofty valuation leaves room for upside, given the company’s already substantial revenue and profitability.
