SpaceX plans to raise $75 billion in its IPO, valuing the company at nearly $1.8 trillion amid rapid revenue growth and heavy AI investments.
SpaceX is set to raise $75 billion in its upcoming IPO, tripling Alibaba’s 2014 record of $22 billion. The offering would value the Elon Musk-led company at nearly $1.8 trillion, reflecting investor confidence in its growth potential.
The company reported $18.7 billion in revenue last year, a 33% increase, though it posted a $4.9 billion net loss due to $6.4 billion in losses from its xAI division. Revenue rose 15% year-over-year in early 2026, driven by its Starlink satellite business and AI initiatives.
At its IPO valuation, SpaceX trades at nearly 100 times sales, a premium even for high-growth firms. The company cites a $23 trillion market opportunity for its AI offerings alone, alongside ambitions in space-based data centers and Mars colonization.
