SpaceX acquires Cursor for $60 billion in all-stock merger
SpaceX has formally agreed to acquire AI coding startup Cursor in an all-stock deal valuing the company at $60 billion.
The merger agreement converts an earlier option arrangement into a binding transaction expected to close during the third quarter of 2026.
Cursor shareholders will receive SpaceX Class A common stock based on the implied $60 billion equity value.
The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
