SLB posted second-quarter revenue of $8.97 billion, up 5% year over year, driven by higher demand for oilfield services and AI infrastructure. Adjusted earnings reached $0.55 per share, topping Wall Street estimates of $0.52.

The company cited geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and a focus on energy security as key growth drivers. SLB also highlighted a surge in data center revenue, which jumped 80% and is projected to exceed a $1 billion annualized run rate by late 2026.

SLB’s expansion into AI-related services positions it for further growth, with revenue expected to reach $2 billion by the end of next year.
