Six members of Congress have purchased SpaceX (SPCX) stock since its June 12 initial public offering, with investments ranging from $1,000 to $250,000. The trades include a rare Democratic participant, Rep. Gilbert Cisneros, who bought between $1,000 and $5,000 in shares on June 18.

The first purchase came in December 2025, when Rep. Lisa McClain’s husband acquired $100,000 to $250,000 in Elon Musk’s xAI, later merged into SpaceX. Five additional lawmakers, primarily Republicans, followed after the IPO, with total disclosed investments between $182,000 and $480,000.

Lawmakers must report stock trades within 30 days, suggesting more disclosures may emerge in the coming weeks. The transactions have drawn attention from tracking services monitoring legislative trading activity.
