Revenue rose 2.0% year-on-year to 1.44 trillion RMB as refining margins improved in the first half of 2026.
China Petroleum & Chemical reported first-half net profit of 26.567 billion RMB, an 11.9% increase from the same period last year. Revenue climbed 2.0% to 1.44 trillion RMB, supported by stronger refining margins and steady demand for petrochemical products.
The 11.9% profit growth outpaced the 8.5% consensus estimate compiled by local brokers. Revenue growth of 2.0% matched the prior-year print but fell short of the 3.2% rise recorded in the first half of 2025.
Shares of Sinopec edged 0.3% higher in early Hong Kong trade following the release.
