ET. Silver prices opened much higher this morning at $62.20. The last time we saw silver open above $62 with any real consistency was in June.

With silver prices edging lower after opening, it’s unclear how long silver can hold at the $60-plus price point. Precious metal prices are moving higher this morning thanks to continued negotiations in the Middle East to partially reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Silver is also benefiting from the tailwind provided by weaker job numbers.
