Shift4 adds USDT to its crypto checkout product
Shift4 has partnered with Lydian to expand its Pay with Crypto product, allowing merchants to accept USDT payments.
The partnership enables merchants to receive local-currency settlement, without directly handling digital assets.
The addition of USDT gives Shift4 another way to position crypto payments as a mainstream payment method, rather than a speculative add-on.
Pay with Crypto is already live across thousands of merchants in the United States, with USDT support expanding the program without adding complexity or risk for merchants.
