Shentel Q2 Revenue Rises 5.5% as Fiber Revenue Tops Half of Total

Shenandoah Telecommunications reported $93.5 million in Q2 revenue, driven by 21.4% fiber growth and record customer additions.

Shenandoah Telecommunications (NASDAQ:SHEN) posted a 5.5% year-over-year increase in second-quarter revenue to $93.5 million, while adjusted EBITDA climbed 12.9% to $32 million. The adjusted EBITDA margin expanded 200 basis points to 34.3%.

Fiber revenue surged 21.4%, accounting for more than half of total revenue for the first time. Glo Fiber added 6,200 net data customers, reaching over 100,000, with total passings exceeding 475,000. The company reaffirmed its 2026 outlook, targeting revenue of $370 million to $377 million and adjusted EBITDA of $131 million to $136 million.

Management expects positive free cash flow in 2027 as fiber construction winds down, citing milestones in its fiber-first strategy.
