ServiceNow’s market cap stands at $94 billion after a 54% drop in the past year amid AI-driven sector disruption.

ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott declared the company will reach a $1 trillion valuation, calling it a matter of timing rather than possibility. The software firm’s market cap currently sits at $94 billion, down from an intraday high of $231 in December 2024, as its stock plunged 54% over the past year.

Investors have soured on ServiceNow amid concerns that AI competitors like Anthropic and OpenAI are eroding the SaaS model. The broader software sector has also faced pressure, with valuations declining sharply in 2024.

McDermott, known for his optimistic outlook, previously led SAP’s cloud transformation and nearly quadrupled its market value during his tenure as CEO from 2010 to 2019.
