Shares of semiconductor equipment makers rose after Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company reported a 5.6% monthly and 44.7% annual revenue increase to $14.51 billion in July. The gains lifted ASML, Applied Materials, and Lam Research, key suppliers to TSMC.

TSMC’s January-July 2026 revenue reached $89.11 billion, up 37% year-over-year, driven by strong demand for AI-related chips. The company previously reported record Q2 revenue of $40.2 billion, a 36% annual increase, and raised its 2026 growth forecast to over 40%.

The rally reflects confidence in TSMC’s expansion and its role as the world’s largest chipmaker amid sustained semiconductor demand.
