Selective Insurance posted second-quarter non-GAAP earnings per share of $1.95, surpassing estimates by $0.28. Revenue reached $1.39 billion, up 4.5% from the same period last year and $20 million above forecasts.

The company’s prior-year Q2 revenue stood at $1.33 billion, with consensus estimates for the quarter targeting $1.37 billion in revenue. Analysts had projected EPS of $1.67 for the period.

Selective Insurance also outlined full-year 2026 expectations, including a GAAP combined ratio of 96.5% to 97.5%, factoring in net catastrophe losses.
