Dubai-based Select Group acquires three Delta Hotels by Marriott properties, adding 380 rooms and 900 acres to its UK portfolio.
Dubai-based Select Group has acquired three Delta Hotels by Marriott golf and country club resorts in the UK, expanding its hospitality platform. The deal includes properties in Derbyshire, Kent, and Wales, totaling 380 rooms and over 900 acres of land.
The transaction increases Select Group’s UK golf resort portfolio to five properties and more than 530 rooms. The company previously acquired The Mere Golf Resort & Spa and Old Thorns Hotel & Resort in 2023, when the newly purchased resorts were rebranded under Marriott.
Select Group CEO Israr Liaqat stated the acquisition aligns with the company’s long-term strategy, citing strong fundamentals and potential for operational improvements. The UK remains a key market for the firm’s hospitality investments.
