The tokenization firm raised $400 million at a $1 billion valuation as the tokenized asset market surpasses $43 billion.
Securitize closed its first trading day on the New York Stock Exchange up nearly 4.5% after raising $400 million in its public offering. The company’s valuation exceeded $1 billion, reflecting strong investor interest in tokenized assets.
The tokenized real-world asset market now stands at over $43 billion, with money market funds dominating the space. Tokenized commodities account for $7 billion, while tokenized stocks represent $1.6 billion, per industry data.
Analysts project rapid growth, with Citigroup forecasting the market could expand to between $5.5 trillion and $8.2 trillion by 2030. The debut follows Securitize’s launch of tokenized stocks on Solana and Avalanche earlier this week.
