Saudi Arabia imports more fuel oil due to declining gas output
Saudi Arabia is boosting fuel oil imports to use in power generation as its natural gas production declines.
The decline in natural gas production is a result of reduced oil output, with the shut-in amount estimated at over 3 million barrels daily.
Fuel oil imports stood at an average of 360,000 barrels daily last month.
