The memory chipmaker expands its repurchase authorization to 8.6% of its $181 billion market cap after record cash flow.

SanDisk’s board approved an additional $14 billion share buyback, lifting its total authorization to $15.5 billion. The program represents 8.6% of the company’s $181 billion market valuation at current prices.

Fiscal 2026 revenue surged 175% to $20.2 billion, driven by AI infrastructure demand and higher NAND flash pricing. Net income swung to $11.4 billion from a $1.6 billion loss the prior year, while operating cash flow jumped to $11.7 billion from $84 million.

The buyback expansion follows a 372% year-over-year revenue increase in the fourth quarter, with datacenter revenue rising 437% as AI build-outs accelerated demand.
