Salesforce agreed to acquire customer agent company Fin for approximately $3.6 billion, expanding its autonomous AI agent capabilities. The transaction will enable faster deployment of AI-driven customer service solutions, particularly for small and mid-sized businesses seeking quick integration and measurable outcomes.

The acquisition marks Salesforce’s 15th deal since May 2025 as the company accelerates innovation amid AI-driven market shifts. Analysts at Jefferies highlighted the move as a catalyst for broader AI adoption within Salesforce’s installed base, reinforcing its competitive positioning.

Following the announcement, Canaccord Genuity maintained its Buy rating and $225 price target on Salesforce, while Truist also reiterated a positive outlook. The deal is expected to close pending regulatory approvals.
