RUM Group’s AI compute pivot drives shares to $9.04, while Trump Media rebounds to $9.03 after Bitcoin losses.
RUM Group (NASDAQ:RUM) climbed 7% to $9.04 in midday trading, extending gains from its pivot into AI compute infrastructure. The move contrasts with Trump Media & Technology Group (NASDAQ:DJT), which rose 6% to $9.03 after a $190 million Bitcoin bet soured earlier this year.
Both stocks now trade near $9, though RUM’s rally stems from AI-driven revenue guidance of $87 million to $93 million for Q3. Quake AI’s GPU utilization exceeds 85%, and a Blackwell deal with Together AI underpins the outlook. The broader data center ETF (DTCR) fell 0.5%, signaling RUM’s gains are isolated.
RUM’s 33% year-to-date gain follows a strategic shift from media to AI, while DJT has declined 36% in 2026 amid capital allocation missteps.
