The defense contractor will supply multi-domain SharpSight radars under a deal expanding global distribution for surveillance and security operations.
RTX’s Raytheon unit received an order for 120 SharpSight radars from Blue Raven, marking the largest contract yet for the multi-domain surveillance system. The radars support manned and autonomous platforms in border security, search-and-rescue, and long-range surveillance missions.
The agreement tasks RTX with manufacturing and sustaining the radars, while Blue Raven handles global resale and distribution. The partnership aims to broaden the system’s availability to international customers. RTX remains rated a Moderate Buy by analysts, with a 26% average upside target.
RTX, a major aerospace and defense provider, serves commercial, military, and government clients through units including Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney.
