The renewal of Mining Licence MIN 4921 ensures operational continuity at Victoria’s Omeo project until 2044.

Rokeby Resources has extended its mining licence for the Omeo Gold Project in Victoria, Australia, for 20 years, securing operations until May 2044. The licence covers the Mt Wills goldfield, including Maude and Sunnyside deposits, with a historical resource estimate of 320,000 ounces of gold at 4 g/t.

The project’s resource estimate, disclosed in April 2026, remains non-compliant with the Joint Ore Reserves Committee Code. Historical drilling has identified high-grade intercepts along a 5.8km mineralised zone, with Sunnyside marked as a key exploration target.

Rokeby plans to accelerate drilling at Sunnyside following the licence renewal, aiming to expand the resource base and advance development evaluations. The extension supports the company’s long-term strategy for the project.
