Robinhood debuted Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum-powered Ethereum layer-2 network designed to bridge its brokerage and crypto services. The platform supports tokenized stocks, allowing users to trade onchain versions of shares like Nvidia and Apple, use them as collateral, or deposit them into lending pools—features unavailable in traditional finance.

The network launched with integrations from BitGo and Chainlink, alongside partnerships with Uniswap and Pleiades for market-making. Robinhood describes the chain as ‘AI-native,’ enabling direct onchain trading by AI agents. The move follows growing demand for composable on-chain capital and DeFi applications.

Crypto markets reacted positively, with SOL rising 10% and BTC climbing 5% to $61.3k. Lighter’s LIT token surged 15% to a new local high following the announcement.
