The brokerage reported record Q2 revenue and net income but saw cryptocurrency transaction revenue decline sharply year over year.
Robinhood reported second-quarter revenue of $1.31 billion, a 32% year-over-year increase, and net income of $573 million, up 48%. The results marked a record for the online brokerage, driven by growth in its core trading business.
Cryptocurrency transaction revenue fell 38% to $100 million from $160 million a year earlier. Total crypto trading volume reached $40 billion, with $18 billion on the Robinhood app and $22 billion from Bitstamp, the exchange acquired in June 2025.
Shares of Robinhood declined 3.15% following the earnings release, reflecting investor concerns over the crypto revenue decline despite overall growth.
