Rivian Automotive posted $5.4 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2025, an 8.4% increase from the prior year. The company narrowed its net loss to $3.6 billion, improving its net margin to -67.7% from a wider deficit in the previous period.

The EV maker continues to scale production of its R1T pickup and R1S SUV while relying on commercial clients like Amazon for a significant portion of its business. Despite growth, profitability remains elusive amid intense competition in the electric vehicle sector.

Rivian’s focus on adventure-oriented vehicles and expansion into global markets contrasts with rivals like Lucid Group, which targets the ultra-luxury segment.
