Ripple CEO says bitcoin strategy hurts crypto market
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse criticized the approach of using financial engineering to fund bitcoin purchases.
He pointed to preferred shares trading below par value as evidence of a flawed strategy.
The shares carry an 11.5% annual cumulative dividend and have been used to raise capital for additional bitcoin purchases.
