Rheinmetall AG delivered a first-half operating profit of EUR786M, up 74% from EUR453M a year earlier, driven by a 39% revenue increase to EUR5.2B. Earnings per share from continuing operations rose to EUR8.43 from EUR4.69 in the same period last year.

The group’s operating margin reached 15.0% at the consolidated level, reflecting improved profitability amid higher demand. Revenue growth was supported by strong order intake, with the company’s order backlog swelling to EUR16.2B.

Shares showed limited immediate reaction in early Frankfurt trading, holding near prior levels.
