China’s Quanzhou region reports significant export growth in sportswear and footwear via cross-border e-commerce and cultural branding.
Quanzhou’s sportswear and footwear exports now reach over 100 countries, driven by digital trade platforms and the “9610” cross-border e-commerce model. The scheme, launched in late 2021, has boosted exports of shoes and garments significantly, according to local reports.
The region’s manufacturers are enhancing global competitiveness by integrating cultural designs, such as Maritime Silk Road motifs, into products. Brands like ANTA, 361°, and PEAK benefit from a fully integrated supply chain, spanning production to logistics.
Quanzhou is expanding its international footprint with overseas warehouses and direct sales outlets, aiming to strengthen brand recognition in professional sports and outdoor markets.
