It’s the C-suite shuffle at PVH Corp.

Adelyn Cheong, who’s been president of PVH China since 2021, on Tuesday was named chief executive officer of PVH Americas, overseeing both the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger businesses in their home markets

More from WWD Cheong will take her post in late summer and is succeeding Donald Kohler, who took the post leading the Americas division in October 2024 and is leaving the company as of June 30 to become president and CEO of Banana Republic, a division of Gap Inc. The company said, “Mr. Kohler has decided to leave the company to be closer to family, and with this, pursue a new professional opportunity.” Kohler also currently oversees global licensing, a responsibility that is being transferred to the newly created role of president, global licensing, partnerships and expansion.

That responsibility will be taken up by Joel Samaha, who’s joining PVH from Boston Consulting Group, where he was a partner in the global consumer and fashion practice and has been working with the company over the past year. When Samaha officially joins in July, he will lead strategy and execution of PVH’s “non-owned business partnerships, overseeing category and market licenses, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, as well as the company’s global real estate and expansion strategy.” And Jonathan Bottomley, global chief marketing officer of Calvin Klein, has expanded his portfolio and will also serve as PVH’S executive vice president, group consumer and brand strategy. Bottomley’s mandate is to “accelerate and scale the company’s global consumer capabilities, including insights and data.” Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH, said: “Adelyn and Jonathan are both seasoned leaders who have been key drivers of the multiyear PVH+ Plan transformation.
