Nashville, Tenn.-based Alto, a marketplace and custodian connecting retirement capital with private market opportunities, has launched Alto Private Deal Room, a platform for RIAs to execute self- and client-sourced private market deals. Alto said Alto Private Deal Room allows for custody, compliance and execution to be managed end-to-end through the platform. “We believe this marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in retirement investing, and we can’t wait to see the opportunities it unlocks for advisors, investors and the broader private markets ecosystem,” Alto founder and CEO Eric Satz said in a statement. The Private Deal Room also allows advisor clients to fund private investments through qualified retirement assets.

Alto manages the custodial and transactional processes associated with holding eligible private investments in retirement accounts. Advisors can oversee client accounts, cash balances, transfers and private investments through a centralized digital platform. WTW Investments, SEI Partner on Private Markets for DC Plans SEI and WTW Investments expanded their strategic relationship to support the development of private market solutions for the 401(k) and broader U.S. defined-contribution market.
