PayPal has integrated its stablecoin, PYUSD, into Polygon’s blockchain network, allowing businesses to transfer regulated USD across borders. The move leverages Polygon’s Open Money Stack, enabling seamless wallet, compliance, and cash-out integrations for existing users.

Polygon processes over $2.5 billion in daily stablecoin volume and has settled more than $2.6 trillion in total transactions. The expansion follows PayPal’s earlier rollout of PYUSD to 70 markets, broadening its utility for consumer and business payments.

PYUSD is issued by Paxos under a national trust charter supervised by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, ensuring regulatory compliance. The integration aims to streamline global payments with built-in compliance tools.
