Tokenized stocks market value grows to $1.67 billion
Ondo has introduced tokenized equities with onchain shareholder voting, accompanying the launch of its first US custodial tokenized securities.
The assets include tokenized versions of BlackRock’s iShares Core S&P 500 ETF and Micron Technology.
The market for tokenized stocks has expanded rapidly, first surpassing $1 billion in March and growing to $1.67 billion with nearly 181,000 unique holders.
Tokenization has emerged as one of crypto’s fastest-growing sectors, driven by rising institutional adoption and improving infrastructure.
