OMV AG delivered Q2 GAAP earnings per share of EUR2.85, supported by robust refining performance. Organic free cash flow reached EUR628 million, while clean CCS ROACE stood at 12% for the period.
Energy production fell 4% year-over-year to 291,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, primarily due to Middle East conflict disruptions. Production costs rose to USD11.2 per barrel of oil equivalent. Meanwhile, European refining margins surged to USD20.3 per barrel, more than doubling from prior levels.
The company’s Total Recordable Injury Rate improved to 0.97, reflecting operational safety gains.
