Brent crude falls 0.4% to $110.83 a barrel
Oil prices eased in early trade after President Trump expressed optimism about a quick end to the Iran war.
The decline was modest, with Brent crude falling 45 cents to $110.83 a barrel and WTI dropping 27 cents to $103.88.
US crude stocks fell for a fifth straight week, with a further draw of around 3.4 million barrels expected in the latest data.
